About this gauge

Flaming Gorge Reservoir on the Green River in Wyoming and Utah is the largest upstream storage unit of the Colorado River Storage Project. Under the 2026 Drought Response Operations Plan, Reclamation is releasing additional Flaming Gorge water to support Lake Powell through April 2027 (per USBR's July 2026 24-Month Study).
